We believe that caring for people is the most important of all the Social Services. To do this properly, we must understand the kind of help people need at certain times in their life. It means knowing how these needs can be met appropriately.

But concern and understanding alone are not enough. It is also essential to recognise that all people, whatever their circumstances, are individuals who have their own unique personalities. We never forget that those we help are special to themselves, to their family and their friends.
