Once registered with us they take part in our extensive induction programs, are police checked and are then closely monitored and supervised. They then join our comprehesive training and development program which includes specialist training. They are expected to apply the following principles in all the work they do:

• Respect for the Service User and his or her way of life
• Acceptance of a wide range of home conditions
• Maintenance of the Service User's self-respect in all situaions
• All services are provided in a way acceptable to the Service User
• Making sure that the existing skills of the Service User are maintained
• Observing our strict confidentiality rules
• Ensuring that the Service User is involved in all decisions regarding services
